GVL grad students present at the 2024 North American Congress for Conservation Biology!

Anderson Tate Montenegro presented a poster on his dissertation research, using eDNA metabarcoding and SHERLOCK to survey biodiversity and answer ecological questions about California Central Valley vernal pools on US National Wildlife Refuge lands. Alana Luzzio gave a talk on her first dissertation chapter, describing how development of a SNP panel that can be used to detect hybridization between threatened Lahontan cutthroat trout and non-native rainbow trout.
